In production, I then help shape the sound, structure, and dynamics of your track, using a combination of instruments and creative techniques. Once the composition and production are in place, I move on to mixing, where I balance every element of the song—vocals, instruments, effects—ensuring clarity, depth, cohesion and emotional impact. Finally, mastering is the process of refining the final mix, adjusting the tonal balance, enhancing the dynamics, and preparing the track for distribution in all formats.

Production, Mixing and Mastering

For artists seeking a professional touch to their songs or demos, I offer production, mixing, and mastering services to take your music to the next level. During the production stage, I work with your ideas, helping you arrange and produce the track using a combination of modern digital tools and vintage analog equipment, ensuring your music has the right feel and sound texture.

This includes editing/time aligning of all instruments and vocals, vocal tuning where necessary, adding vintage synths where appropriate and drum sample layering. This can help tighten the timing and pitch of your song, providing a transparent but noticeable improvement.

Once the track is produced, I focus on mixing to bring all elements into perfect harmony—balancing levels, enhancing instruments, and adding space to make sure every sound stands out clearly. The final step is mastering, where I fine-tune the entire mix to ensure consistency across different playback systems, adding the finishing touches that make your song radio-ready and suitable for high-quality streaming and distribution.

If your track is already produced and recorded but needs professional mixing and mastering to meet industry standards, I specialise in both areas to bring out its full potential. Mixing is the process of refining the individual elements of your song—such as vocals, instruments, effects, and dynamics—into a cohesive whole, balancing the sound for clarity, depth, and impact. I offer mixing in a range of formats to suit your needs, including stereo, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos. Whether you want a traditional stereo mix, a more immersive 5.1 surround experience, or a fully three-dimensional Atmos mix, I have the expertise and tools to bring each format to life.

In mastering, I take the final mixed track and optimise it for all distribution platforms, ensuring the tonal balance is perfect, dynamics are polished, and the track is loud enough without sacrificing quality. The goal is to make sure your music translates seamlessly across different listening devices and formats, whether it's for streaming services, CD, vinyl, live performances, or immersive sound systems like 5.1 and Atmos. To me, every song is a collaborative effort with the artist, and that's why I offer unlimited revisions on all projects. It's important that we have the freedom to refine the work until it matches the artist's exact vision.

I aim to complete and deliver a finished composition and production for a single track within 18 days, or 14 days for production. Mixing and mastering are returned within 7 days for singles. Full albums typically take around two weeks, depending on the project's complexity. If you have a pressing deadline, let me know, and I can expedite the process for a small express fee. Once the master of your song is signed off, I will deliver the final WAV files in your preferred format— whether it's stereo, 5.1, or Dolby Atmos, ensuring the highest-quality output for your project.

If you're on a tight schedule, I offer an express service for 50% extra, with delivery by your specified deadline. Simply select the rush service option and provide your desired delivery date, and I'll ensure the project is completed on time.

If you're working in Logic or Pro Tools, you can send the session file directly (please ensure all audio files are included). The only thing to note is that any MIDI or virtual instrument tracks should be converted to audio, as I may not have the exact synths or sound libraries that you're using. Please also supply the latest guide mix for your song, so that I can check that everything in the session is playing back as expected.

If you prefer to share stems, please supply at set of each of the following:

"Wet" stems with all effects, compression, EQ, etc. applied (except for any mix bus limiting).
"Dry" stems with no effects, EQ, or compression.

If you're using pitch correction plugins like Auto-Tune that you want to keep, feel free to leave them on when creating the dry stems.

For both options, make sure each stem starts at bar one and plays through to the end of the song. Please also include your guide mix file in the folder so that I can check that everything is playing back correctly. When you're ready to send, zip up the folder and label it with your full name and email address. Then, upload the file to an unrestricted download link of your choosing (Dropbox, Google Drive etc.) and paste it on the submission form.
